Sausage & peppers is one of my favorite things to eat… but I wanted to mix things up a bit (and, unfortunately, my peppers kicked the bucket—unbeknownst to me, as you’ll see in today’s video). Cooking with alcohol always adds a really cool twist, so we’re trying out this recipe that calls for a bottle (or can) of beer. As you can see, I went with a Sam Adams winter flavor–I’m not into light beers, but I also don’t like anything that’s too dark or too bitter. This beer is great as a drink, so I figured it’d be perfect to cook with, too!
